Haptown Apartment

The brief was a collected home rather than a decorated one. We stripped the apartment back to its structure, redrew the circulation so the reception, dining and living rooms read as one continuous space, and let the garden edge pull daylight deep into the plan.

Every surface was chosen as a material first and a colour second. Lime plaster in warm beige carries the walls, travertine and honed dark marble anchor the horizontal planes, and fluted walnut panelling gives the joinery its rhythm. Against that ground, olive bouclé, terracotta upholstery and brushed brass do the talking.

The result is a home that changes through the day — plaster holding morning light flat and matte, brass and marble picking up the evening.
